Accessibility

Our commitment
Everyone should be able to read this library, whatever device or assistive technology they use. We are based in Ontario and follow the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). Our target for every page is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA.
What we do
- Real controls. Buttons are real buttons, links are real links, and every form field has a label.
- Keyboard. Everything works with a keyboard alone, and the focused item always shows a clear outline.
- Room to tap. Buttons and links are at least 44 pixels tall.
- Contrast. Body text is dark on white, well above the minimum contrast.
- Movement. One decoration on the Home page turns slowly; it stops if your device asks for reduced motion. Nothing else moves.
- Plain words. Pages are written to be read once and understood.
- Phone first. Every page is checked at phone width before it goes up.
